Dr. Trung (Tyler) Duong, MD takes a personal approach in the care of his patients, striving to build a long term relationship with each individual patient. He treats a broad range of adult health issues and emphasizes proactive and preventative care. His interests include all aspects of health maintenance as well as management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Duong grew up in Bernice, Louisiana. In his years of practice, Dr. Duong has held numerous positions including Chief of Staff, Chief of Medicine, Medical Director, Assistant Clinical Professor, and was awarded the Clinical Faculty Award. His vast experiences range from inpatient hospital care and outpatient clinics to nursing homes, home health, and long term acute care. He holds licenses in Texas and Louisiana, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Duong relocated to Dallas in 2008, where he has focused his practice on comprehensive adult medicine. Dr. Duong resides in Frisco with his wife, Julia, and their three daughters Juliana, Angelina, and Olivia. When he is not in the office, he enjoys the outdoors playing tennis, bicycling, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.
