Sarah moved to Texas from Florida and has over eight years of clinical nutrition and counseling experience with a wide variety of patient populations. Sarah graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship at Emory Healthcare. After the completion of her internship, Sarah has worked at the University of Florida Health as a critical care Dietitian in the burn, plastic surgery, and ENT intensive care unit, until moving to Texas. She also worked with a local gym to provide sports nutrition and wellness counseling within the community. Throughout her career, she has been able to gain valuable experience in both adult and pediatric populations, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, cardiology, and weight management. Sarah is a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. She also holds a certification in Dietitian Nutrition Coaching.
Sarah has a passion for helping people make lifelong, healthy lifestyle changes to prevent or improve chronic disease. Sarah teaches her clients, in a compassionate style, ways to facilitate behavior and habit changes around nutrition and wellness. This will improve their quality of life and assist them in reaching their goals. Sarah has a passion for encouraging joyful movement and is also a Zumba instructor. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, exercising, and exploring her new home state of Texas.
