Dr. M. Christopher Short is dedicated to helping his patients be as healthy as possible. He understands that the doctor-patient relationship is personal and strives to give his patients the best medical advice while also accounting for each patient’s unique perspective on their own healthcare. He has practiced medicine in Plano since 2005 and has a good working relationship with excellent subspecialists in the area. His professional interests include wellness and preventive care, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and dermatology. He also has skills in emergency medicine, moonlighting in emergency rooms for 5 years in his early career. Dr. Short is dedicated to training the next generation of doctors and has taught many pre-med and medical students over the years who have shadowed him in clinic. He enjoys backpacking, skiing, and almost every sport and spending time with his wife Karina and their 4 children.
